We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Percy Plunkett, Penrith NSW, 2750. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing 

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Developing recipes and techniques for preparing, cooking and presenting foods

according to restaurant standards.  

  • Managing the ordering process for fresh produce, meats, fish, dairy products, and

dry goods.  

  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Providing excellent customer service and presenting dishes with care

Skill & Experience

  • Qualifications in commercial cookery and hospitality.
  • At least two years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • Team player with good communication and problem-solving skill.
