We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Percy Plunkett, Penrith NSW, 2750. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and cook a range of meals following the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
  • Wash, cut, measure and prepare ingredients before cooking.
  • Cook food using a variety of cooking methods, including grilling, frying, roasting and baking.
  • Check the quality of ingredients and ensure food is fresh and stored correctly.
  • Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and tidy.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

Skill & Experience

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualifications in commercial cookery and
  • At least two years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • Team player with good communication and problem-solving
