Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and evaluate educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to local primary school and positive experiences within the community.
Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language development.
Evaluate educational programs allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
Observe, assess and document each children’s learning and developmental progress.
Build strong partnerships with families to share insights and gain an understanding of each child’s unique background.
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes children’s wellbeing and participation.
Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their independence and confidence.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Child Safe Standards, and relevant regulations.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to educators and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Motivate, mentor and lead a team of educators within the learning environment.

Skill & Experience

Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field recognised for Early Childhood Teaching in Australia.
Minimum one year of relevant post-qualification experience as an Early Childhood Teacher (preferred).
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant legislation.
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Comply with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
Demonstrated ability to lead a kindergarten program and mentor educators.
Experience using digital platforms for observations, assessments and family communications.

Experience in creating and implementing engaging educational programs is essential.
Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs.
Strong observation, assessment and documentation skills.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates (or ability to obtain).
