Summary

Our client Wings of Support is seeking to add a Marketing Specialist to their dedicated team in Kununurra. Since launching in 2023, Wings of Support has been committed to empowering NDIS participants in the East Kimberley region. With a strong client-centred approach and a focus on culturally responsive care, the organisation is expanding its outreach and visibility through strategic marketing efforts tailored to remote and regional communities.

Key Responsibilities

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote support services and outreach initiatives.
  • Develop culturally appropriate content for print, digital, and multimedia platforms.
  • Manage website updates, email campaigns, and social media accounts regularly.
  • Design and produce flyers, brochures, and community-specific promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders to coordinate local engagement events.
  • Use NDIA and DHAC dashboards to analyse market trends and identify service gaps.
  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Create participant-focused stories and content aligned with NDIS and aged care reforms.
  • Support grant applications with case studies and marketing data insights.
  • Build relationships with ACCHOs, Elders, and local councils across the Kimberley.
  • Represent the organisation at community expos and local awareness events.
  • Track referral numbers, participant enquiries, and enrolment data as part of reporting.
  • Ensure marketing materials are accessible, easy to read, and culturally safe.
  • Use tools like Canva or Adobe Suite for graphic design and brand consistency.
  • Stay informed on aged care reforms and NDIS policy changes affecting outreach.

Skill & Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or community engagement.
  • Experience designing culturally appropriate materials for Aboriginal and remote communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integrated digital and print campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Mailchimp for performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with NDIS or aged care systems and current reforms relevant to participant engagement.
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and formats.
  • Capacity to work independently in fast-paced environments with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel across the Kimberley region for outreach and community-based events.
