Full Time Supply and Distribution Manager

Salary:

$83,000 plus superannuation

Position Summary

 

The Supply and Distribution Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the procurement, inventory management, warehousing and distribution operations of Renovation Kingdom. The role ensures the efficient sourcing, storage and delivery of bathroom, kitchen and laundry products while maintaining optimal stock levels, cost-effective supply chain operations and high customer service standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Planning, directing and coordinating the procurement, storage and distribution of bathroom, kitchen and laundry products to support the business’s showroom, warehouse and online sales operations.
  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient sourcing, inventory management and nationwide delivery of products to retail and trade customers across Australia.
  • Monitoring inventory levels across product categories, including vanities, tapware, baths, shower screens, basins, toilets and laundry products, to maintain optimal stock availability and minimise supply shortages.
  • Managing relationships with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement, product availability and continuity of supply.
  • Coordinating inbound logistics activities, including supplier deliveries, freight scheduling and warehouse receiving processes, to ensure stock is received accurately and efficiently.
  • Overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock storage, order fulfilment, dispatch and distribution functions, ensuring products are handled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  • Analysing sales forecasts, inventory data and purchasing trends to determine stock replenishment requirements and support business growth.
  • Coordinating the distribution of products to customers nationwide through third-party freight and logistics providers, ensuring delivery schedules, service standards and customer expectations are met.
  • Developing and maintaining inventory management systems and operational procedures to improve stock accuracy, warehouse efficiency and order fulfilment performance.
  • Monitoring supply chain and distribution costs and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce freight expenses and maximise profitability.
  • Liaising with showroom, sales, customer service and procurement teams to ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand and promotional activities.
  • Managing inventory audits and stock investigations, resolving discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing management reports relating to inventory performance, supply chain operations, procurement activities, distribution efficiency and key operational metrics.
  • Ensuring warehouse and distribution activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and relevant industry standards.
  • Supervising and coordinating warehouse and logistics personnel, including allocating duties, monitoring performance and supporting the achievement of operational targets.

Skill & Experience

Required Skills

 

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, inventory control and distribution operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage warehousing and logistics functions within a retail, wholesale or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, freight providers, customers and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements applicable to warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Proven leadership and staff management capabilities.

 

Required Work Experience

 

  • At least two years of full-time, post-qualification work experience in a supply chain, logistics, warehouse management or distribution management role; or
  • Experience within a building products, home improvement, hardware, bathroom, kitchen, renovation or similar product supply environment will be highly regarded
